Adult ’70s Jeans Upcycle Workshop
Turn an ordinary pair of jeans into a stylish pair of ’70s-inspired wide-leg bell bottoms! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to add colorful fabric inserts to the outer side seams of your jeans, creating a fun, custom look that’s perfect for your wardrobe.
No sewing machine? No problem! We’ll provide the sewing machines, fabric, thread, and all the supplies you’ll need. Just bring your jeans and get ready to sew!
Important: Choosing the Right Jeans
Not every pair of jeans will work for this project. Because we’ll be opening the outer side seams only, your jeans must have a simple outer seam with no decorative stitching, double topstitching, embellishments, rivets, or other details along that seam. These features make the project much more difficult and time-consuming.
After registering, you’ll receive an email with photos and examples of the exact type of jeans to bring to class.
