🌟 Join us for an exciting youth sewing camp, where budding fashionistas aged 10-17 will embark on a creative journey to design and sew their own stunning sheath dress for a prom theme! 🎀✂️
📆 Date: July 11th - June 14th ⏰ Time: 1pm-3pm📍 mothers magical Milk in Mansfield
During this immersive camp, students will learn essential sewing skills and unleash their creativity while following our carefully designed curriculum:
📚 Session 1: Sewing Fundamentals Students will dive into the world of sewing, learning the basics of machine operation, fabric handling, and stitching techniques.
🎨 Session 2: Design and Pattern Preparation Inspired by the prom theme, students will unleash their creativity and illustrate their unique dress designs. They will then select a pattern and begin cutting out the fabric for their dream dress.
🧵 Session 3: Dress Construction Guided by our experienced instructors, students will bring their designs to life as they construct their dresses, mastering essential garment construction techniques.
✨ Session 4: Finishing and Embellishments In the final session, students will add the finishing touches to their dresses, including hemming, attaching closures, and exploring creative embellishments to make their dresses truly stand out.
🎉 On June 24th, we invite students to showcase their fabulous creations at our glamorous fashion show, held right here at the library! It's a perfect opportunity for them to flaunt their hard work and celebrate their achievements.
